Triangle Junction- Created for an environmental design project where I, with my team, design out an exhibition space. We decided to focus on a dilapidated building that was and still is used as a recording studio. Initially a grocery store, it was converted to triangle studio, then reciprocal recording, where Nirvana recorded their first demo and their first album
Bleach. Some other notable bands to record at this building is Mudhoney, Soundgarden, Modest Mouse, Fleet Foxes, and Death Cab for Cutie.
A twist to the exhibition is that we are also focusing on the history of Ballard (the neighborhood in Seattle that the building is in) and showing the paralleled history of both Ballard as a whole with the building itself (humble beginning, ownership change, counter-culture vibe, etc.).
This is the logo that I designed for the exhibition. I wanted to make ripples (to reflect Ballard's roots as a fishing community) that formed a triangle (an allusion to Triangle Studio the building) to create a double meaning.

Meridian- The Meridian logo and collateral were created during the AIGA event
Branded. This event paired up a design team with a social venture business group with the task of creating a brand that captured the vision of the prospective business. Meridian is a business that trains low to middle income individuals with hard and soft job skills to make them a stronger asset to businesses. They then work as an employment agency where they connect these individuals with companies seeking employees.
Valet to your Door Drycleaning- This logo was created for a dry cleaning company named Valet Drycleaning to your Door who wanted a welcoming yet down to business. When I initially spoke with the owner, he said he wanted a penguin logo and that was about it. It was nice to work with a client that let me run with an idea. I like how it is playful but doesn't necessarily detract from the formal nature of the business.
